 Tho Bishop, a native of Panama City, Florida serves as economic strategist for Bishop and Associates, a political consulting firm.  Prior to that, he served as Deputy Communications Director for the House Financial Services Committee at Washington D.C.  Mr. Bishop conducts economic research and analysis for clients, including Congressman Spencer Bachus. Tho specializes in Austrian economic theory, monetary policy and financial services regulation.  During his time in Washington, the Committee passed the bipartisan JOBS Act, conducted oversight of the Federal Reserve, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Financial and Stability Oversight Commission (FSOC) and worked to highlight the economic consequences of the Dodd-Frank Act.  He has been published by the Ludwig von Mises Institute, the Financial Services Committee blog, and on periodicals in the News Herald.
