Title of Presentation: Program Management in Shipbuilding - An Overview of the history of Austal USA and the Program Management tools and processes that Austal utilizes as they relate to PMI good practices.

Mr. Ed Willaims, PMP currently serves as the Mobile Branch Director of Professional Development. Ed has an extensive background in the Defense Industry, Program Mangement and Shipbuilding. In 2003, after a 20 year career in the U.S. Navy, Ed transitioned into Shipbuilding. Currently, he is the Director of Post Delivery  at Austal USA where he is responsible  for the Life Cycle Maintenance and Repair of the Navy's Littoral Combat and Joint High Speed Class ships. Mr Williams earned his PMP certification and joined the Emerald Coast Chapter in 2011.
